I have designed for some of America’s top brands during my years in the graphic arts business, including Miller Brewing Company, Eli Lilly, NASCAR and Subway. And I have had the pleasure of working with many entrepreneurs in developing their new brands.

I served as Creative Director at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium for 10 years, where I executed all branding and design initiatives, including advertising, exhibit design, photography, Mote Magazine and mote.org.

I also owned my own design studio, where award-winning work produced results for a variety of industries, including real estate, healthcare and hospitality. I developed the brand for Knoxville Museum of Art’s “Art at Work” initiative, rebranded the City of St. Petersburg, branded Carmelita’s Rum and the popular Preservation Pub.

I have always lived and breathed art. Being raised by two starving artists seemed to have affected my view of the world. I am always looking for a unique perspective or unexpected medium to communicate my message. I truly love what I do.

Outside of work, I hold many titles – Husband, Father, Skipper, Chef, and Bottomless Pit of Useless Information.

Skills I bring to the table include: Creative and art direction, brand development, team management, team training, Adobe Creative Cloud and Suite, Microsoft Office and Powerpoint, Prezzi, WordPress and front end web design, media and communications, digital photography and color correction, exhibit and large format design, presentation and sales, packaging design, magazine design, prepress and print production.
